This fully revised two-volume biography of investor Warren Buffett has more 1,800 pages and 1,200 photos. Chapter 1 (of 335 chapters) makes the case that Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway, although based in Omaha, is now truly an international company. Chapter 2 deals with giving the bulk of his fortune to the Gates Foundation. Chapter 3 tells how Bill Gates thanked Buffett -- by giving him a rare 1776 first edition of Adam Smith's Wealth of Nations. Chapter 4 tells of Berkshire's purchase of Iscar, the precision tool company in Israel. The back cover shows of a photo of Buffett with National Basketball Association star LeBron James.

Review by IBS

This baby (007 OPV) weights nine pounds and is great! I know of no other more complete coverage of Berkshire Hathaway's history and culture. I own several older OPVs, but this year's edition has even better paper and better photos.

The book content is serious, but the writing style is fun. I laugh out loud almost every page I flip. (Billy is a real "Schnullerbacke" as Germans would say. ;) This book is a vaste resource in learning how to enjoy life while doing serious business (investing) at the same time.
